I stayed in room 210, which has no balcony, but you are able to pay for lots of other rooms with a balcony if you wish. Everything that you could need during the stay was available from the hotel. From baby milk warmers to slippers and irons and beach chairs, etc...the list is HUGE, and I think you will find it hard to fault them. The hotel also sports a lot of nice products used within the room, such as the brilliant bluetooth bedside alarm clock and L'occitane bath soap (which smell absolutely amazing). These are on display within the reception, which I believe you can actually purchase. The beds are super comfortable and are of excellent quality, with spare pillows kept in the cupboard if you need them. The room cleaning service is brilliant 👏 I've stayed in a lot of hotels over the years due to the nature of my job. I can honestly say that this hotel has some fantastic cleaners and they are so polite and they always greet you with a warm, welcoming smile. I really hope they get the credit they deserve as I think they are a fantastic team. "A HUGE round of applause 👏 from me." The beach is so close to the hotel, which is great if you like a morning swim, or you may have kids that can't wait to jump in the water. The water is very clear and the beach is very clean. however, I do recommend that you take some beach shoes as the coast very stoney and can be very painful to walk on - not to mention scalding hot from the sun. Just to note: on my last day I discovered a water tap just next to the beach GYM (to the right if you are looking at the sea) which would have been useful If I had known sooner. Food and Drink: Where do i begin! There are so many places to choose from. You have the hotel restaurant that offers room service, the hotel restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the hotel bar if you fancy a nice drink and the surrounding pizzeria and bars that operate under the same building complex.

Hotel Victoria is located at a perfect spot at border between the villages of Carnoles and Roquebrune-Cap Martin. It has a clear view towards the beach and is not far from the famous 'rock path' for pedestrians created by architect Le Corbusier. T Hotel Victoria is inspired by architect Le Corbusier who had his working spot located at Cap Martin (Le Cabane) and they have take every effort in detail to add Le Corbusier's legacy into the rooms, the lobby and the furniture. The train station of Carnoles is just a 4 minute walk away and a bus stop in front of the hotel takes you straight to Menton or the Casino square of Monte-Carlo incase you are not travelling by car. The European-French breakfast was excellent as well. In all, I can recommend Hotel Victoria to other bookers being present at Booking.com looking for a base to explore the most beautiful part of the French Riviera which is located between Nice and Menton. The room was very clean, great size and bathroom and separate toilet great sizes too. It was very modern and more than met our needs. Beds firm and air con quiet. We opted not to pay extra for sea view, bonus to this was the sun was on our balcony early evening whilst sea view rooms were in shade, down side you were looking directly into balconies of residential apartments opposite. There is a bakery and local bar/shop below the hotel and a supermarket 1 minute walk. Drinks in the hotel more expensive than the local bar so we went there.. would have love to have used the hotel seating but at 4 euros an aperol (for comparison) we went to local bar. Train station 10 minute walk so very convenient (make sure to go to Carnoles station for this hotel and not Roqubrane-cap-Martin which is the other end of the town). Deck chairs to borrow to sit on beach. There is a sister hotel in Menton, the Napoleon who were super welcoming when we visited and said we were at the Victoria.

We had a room with a balcony overlooking the sea and it was a view that worth the price. Although on the main front promenade, no noise was heard from inside the room when the windows were closed. The room exceeded what we were expecting in terms of size, decor & facilities.

Peter

We had several difficulties at the hotel, since our room was flooded and the air conditioning in the room they upgraded us to did not work, but they were fortuitous things, and the hotel and its staff always responded excellently..We only have gratitude for them
